Curtigghiu is one of Sicilians’ favorite pastimes. Backyard gossip, chatter among friends: a real cut and sew of stories and people, where this wine becomes the best companion for “comari e cumpari” (best friends) when they get together.

Curtigghiu is a fresh and fragrant wine, and like its red “alter ego”, Cumparanza, it’s designed for lovers of conviviality, to be enjoyed with a smile.

From a blend of native white grape varieties, this wine has a medium-intense straw yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it is intense, floral (jasmine and lily) and fruity, with hints of fresh summer fruit (white and yellow pulp) and aromatic herbs from our mountains.

After a soft pressing with decantation of the must at low temperature and fermentation at 16°C, a simple 6-month refinement in steel gives life to an organic wine excellent as an aperitif, to be paired with light first courses, fish-based dishes (raw and cooked) and white meats.
