“It is an evocative wine that tells the tradition of one of the most important and ancient vines of the island that, with its floral fragrances that taste of summer and the color of the sun of Sicily, give calm and quiet to the soul.”

The TSG’s vineyard “Trazzera Marraffa” is located at about 850 meters altitude in a slope exposed to the South - East. Here is born the Grillo which has its roots in a clay soil rich in minerals.

Each rooted is cared for with love and intimate dedication as if it were a family jewel. The rules are those of organic farming but the methods follow the philosophy of biodynamics.

Straw yellow color with light greenish nuances. The nose is floral and fruity. The characteristic aroma is reminiscent of nettle, green pepper and jasmine. The taste is fresh, savory with a good acidity and balanced roundness.

After the end of August harvest it continues with a controlled temperature fermentation and then refine in steel for at least 6-8 months.

“Grape variety demanding and difficult but able to return great emotion in the glass, with rare elegance and complexity.” Nerello Mascalese is an autochthonous vine of Sicily whose best expression is found in the central-eastern part of the island where there are mountains with significant altitudes ideal for the late ripening of these grapes. This too, as for Pinot Noir, was a difficult choice, wanting almost visionary, but the small plot of “Montelavano” at 800 meters. slm already after a few years, is giving satisfaction. With very low yields (50 quintals per hectare) the grapes, harvested and selected by hand, give life to a generous wine that tastes like currant, black mulberry and pomegranate. Expressive purity on the palate, vertical and floral with satisfying freshness in the mouth. Aging in second passage barrique.

Like the name of one of the first settlements of the old Gangi, in whose territory the grapes of this “Moscato di Sicilia” ripen until they become gold in color.

The small vineyard Part. 193 of “Str. Comunale Marraffo” is located at 850 meters above sea level, on a gentle slope with clayey soil rich in minerals. The drying of the grapes takes place on racks in a naturally ventilated environment. The pressing is delicate and the must ferments in steel where it remains to refine for approximately 12 months. The cultivation and processing are exclusively organic, fully following the entire farm philosophy. Elegant on the nose, with hints of candied fruit and notes of aromatic herbs from the “Alte Madonie”. On the palate it is sweet, enveloping, long and velvety. Excellent at the end of a meal when combined with blue cheeses, dry pastries, ricotta and dark chocolate; or more simply for relax or meditation. Limited production (just 1.000 bottles) offered in a 500 ml bottle.

“It is the quintessence of elegance and finesse, fragrant, ethereal, with fruity notes of small berries, light spices, musk, currants and raspberries. Wild scents as wild is the nature of the Madonie.”

The vineyard “Settevie”, where the Pinot Noir is born, is exposed to the South East, with a view of Etna, on a slight slope on a well drained and ventilated ground. The choice of this vine from the noble tradition was made by Salvatore, believing that here there were the ideal pedoclimatic conditions to face an important challenge: vinify Pinot Noir in Sicily!

With passion and dedication the challenge has been transformed into an opportunity, obtaining a wine of great complexity, with an almost transparent ruby red color, with delicate structure and tannins and with a low acidity.

It is a wine that goes perfectly with porcini mushrooms, truffle risotto, lamb and spicy dishes. In paring to everything that has decided aromas our Pinot Noir releases the maximum of sensory expressions.

    Aging in second-pass oak barriques.

Born in the small plot of "Montelavano" at around 800 meters above sea level, with very low yields, this ancient Sicilian red wine offers intense vinous, fruity and spicy aromas.

This pure Perricone represents for the production area (Alte Madonie) a return to the Sicilian wine scene. The pedoclimatic conditions of these mountains determine pleasant hints of herbs and dried fruit. After pressing, the grapes ferment in contact with the skins for approximately 10 days at a controlled temperature. The refinement in second passage barriques, for approximately 10-12 months, refines the taste and enriches it with fruity hints. On the palate it is savory, warm and balanced, with a strong tannic tone, a pleasant bitterish vein and an incisive and well-defined character, which make it a wine to be enjoyed at the table, combined with substantial and structured dishes such as ragù-based dishes, game, pork, as well as cured meats and mature cheeses.

“A wine rich in scents and fragrances that only “heroic” vineyards are able to give.”

At about a thousand meters above sea level, where the uncontaminated nature of the Madonie mountains reigns supreme, a Syrah is born from the extraordinary minerality and unique hints of the sea and the mountain of Sicily.

Legend tells that the Syrah “cuttings” arrived in these places from distant Persia (today Iran) through the pilgrims who in the Middle Ages passed through the Sicilian hinterland to reach Santiago de Compostela in Spain, to venerate the Patron Saint James (Jaime in Spanish). It seems they left them as a gift to the locals as gratitude for their generous hospitality.

Since then and for generations the farmers of the territory, with passion and effort, have taken care of this vine, so much to consider it autochthonous.

Aging in second passage barrique and then rest a few months in bottle. Ruby red color. The nose red fruits and toasted almonds. Full, warm and round taste.
